Small characters for changeable messages

The RIBtype TA7 letter and figure set contains 136 interchangeable rubber pieces in A-style regular type. Each character is 1/16 inch high, approximately 1.59 mm or 6 point. Letters, numbers and symbols let you arrange short messages, part numbers, dates and other codes on a compatible ribbed marking device.

The two ribs on the back of each character interlock with the matching ribbed surface of the device. You can replace individual characters when a date, number or message changes. This is a replacement character assortment, so the price does not include a stamp mount, ink pad or ink.

Check the set against your marking device

Choose this assortment when your message needs letters as well as figures. The TA7 RIBtype set uses the regular A-style face. Check character height, ribbed base compatibility and the space available for your complete message before ordering. Character height is not the width of an assembled line, and 136 pieces does not mean 136 copies of every character.

Ribbed type systems can differ in character style and alignment. Older worn type may also print differently beside new pieces. If you need to match an existing impression closely, compare your present type and device before replacing part of a set.
