Signature and dateFinal professional documents presented to clients or public agencies require the responsible licensee’s seal, signature and signing date. The signature and date belong across or adjacent to the seal (§245:15-17-2(a); 59 O.S. §475.15(C)).Verified
Documents with multiple sheetsThe first or title page and each sheet must be signed and sealed by the responsible licensee or licensees. What an Oklahoma professional engineer stamp is for

An Oklahoma professional engineer stamp identifies the licensed engineer responsible for professional work. Final engineering documents presented to clients or public agencies require the responsible licensee’s seal, signature and signing date. The stamp supplies your personalized seal image; it does not supply professional authority, supervision or a signature.

Use your Oklahoma PE stamp only while your license is current and in good standing, and only for work within your board-recorded areas of competence. An engineer intern may not have a seal. This listing provides the ordinary Licensed Professional Engineer layout. It is not the separate Professional Structural Engineer seal required for significant structures.

The Oklahoma engineer seal layout and size

The prescribed design uses two concentric circles. Your name and license number sit inside the inner circle. Licensed Professional Engineer appears above, reading clockwise, and Oklahoma below, reading counterclockwise. Use the identity on your license. If you practice under a different customary professional name, register that name and a copy of its signature with the board. The name you sign must match the seal.

Oklahoma’s commercial 1⅝-inch seal designation describes an outer circle of 1 9/16 inches and an inner circle of 1 1/16 inches. Its larger commercial 1⅞-inch format has a 1¾-inch outer circle and a 1⅛-inch inner circle. The commercial mount designation and engraved circle diameter are different measurements. This listing uses the compact round Trodat 4642; the housing photograph is not a measurement of a finished personalized die.

The board permits accurate, legible rubber-stamp and electronically digitized seal images. Reproducing a document may change the seal’s size if it remains completely legible. The reviewed provisions do not prescribe an ink color. Check that the name and number reproduce clearly on the documents and copies involved.

The Trodat 4642 self-inking mount

This Oklahoma professional engineer stamp uses one specific mount: the Trodat 4642. Its internal pad inks the seal between impressions for repeated use. The open base helps you position the stamp, nonslip pads help keep it steady, and the internal ink pad can be refilled or replaced. The product views show the same housing from several angles.

The listed water-based ink does not dry on glossy paper or Mylar. Selecting another ink color does not change that surface limitation. Use a compatible document surface and review the optional matching supplies before ordering. A replacement pad or bottle shown as an extra is a separate selection.

Ordering your Oklahoma professional engineer stamp

Set Qty, then enter Registrant Name and License Number. Those are the identity fields offered for this product, in that order. Preserve any meaningful leading zeros in the number. Select Ink Color from Black, Pink, Red, Purple, Blue, Orange, Green, Dry and Brown. The on-page preview helps you check the typed details before you continue.

Include a Digital File adds personalized JPG and PDF seal artwork. Extra 1 oz Refill Ink, Extra Pad and Pad & Ink Combo are independent optional choices. The combo contains one matching pad and one one-ounce ink bottle. Selecting a separate pad or refill as well as the combo orders both selections. Check the running total with the chosen quantity and extras.

Use Special Instructions for relevant order notes. This Oklahoma professional engineer seal listing has no separate discipline, signature, signing-date or expiration-date engraving field. Add the signature and date to your documents when sealing them, following the applicable rules. The ordinary PE wording cannot be converted into a structural seal by entering a different job title in the name field.

Using seal files and signing documents

An optional Oklahoma PE seal file is artwork, not document authentication. Under the current rule, an electronic or digital signature must be unique to its user, verifiable and under the licensee’s sole responsibility and control. A scanned or reproduced original signature may be used with an original handwritten date. An authenticated electronic or digital signature must be dated and linked to the document so its unchanged data can be verified.

The September 1, 2026 rule requires the first or title page and each sheet of a document with multiple sheets to be signed and sealed by the responsible licensee or licensees. A note under the seal identifies each person’s subject matter where responsibility is shared. Do not assume that signing the first page alone completes the requirements for the rest of a set. Keep the stamp, artwork, licensed identity and document-signing process aligned.

Oklahoma professional engineer stamp questions

What details go on the PE stamp Oklahoma engineers order here?
Enter Registrant Name and License Number as licensed, including meaningful leading zeros. The fixed design supplies Licensed Professional Engineer and Oklahoma. A customary professional name different from your licensed name must be registered with the board together with a signature copy.
Is this the structural engineer seal for significant structures?
No. This product has the ordinary Licensed Professional Engineer wording. Current §245:15-17-1(f) requires a Professional Structural Engineer seal for significant structures and the designation P.E., S.E. following the signature. This listing does not offer that structural layout.
Does the Oklahoma professional engineer stamp include my signature or date?
No. The form personalizes your name and license number. The signature and signing date are applied across or adjacent to the seal on the documents as required by 59 O.S. §475.15(C). The optional JPG and PDF files provide seal artwork only.
Can I sign and seal just the title page of a multi-sheet set?
The current rule requires the first or title page and each sheet to be signed and sealed by the responsible licensee or licensees. That is the wording effective September 1, 2026. A note under the seal identifies the subject matter for which each licensee is responsible.
Must my Oklahoma engineer seal use black ink?
The reviewed sealing provisions do not specify an impression color; they require an accurate, legible seal image. The listed ink is water-based and will not dry on glossy paper or Mylar. Choose a suitable surface as well as a readable color.
Can I still use an older seal saying Registered Professional Engineer?
Section 245:15-17-1(e) permits continued use of existing seals with that wording. This new product uses the current Licensed Professional Engineer wording. The older illustration in Appendix A does not turn this listing into a Registered-wording option.
